PCV Conductors Bus Badge RM 2024 ‘Reading Mainline’ sandwich construction with half moon/horseshoe pin on reverse, all in excellent condition.

PLEASE NOTE this badge is NOT to be confused as the original PSV badges once issued by the Traffic Commissioners from 1935-1991. This is a PCV badge produced after 1991 by bus companies who wanted to retain the badge as a form of identity.

Reading Mainline was set up in July 1994 as a trading name of the Greater Reading Omnibus Company Ltd to directly compete with Reading Transport. Reading Mainline operated a fleet comprised solely of AEC Routemaster buses, seen by many as a traditional English bus, with an open rear platform and a Conductor.
